Mr Inderjit Singh, an engineer by training, and worked at Texas Instruments for 13 years before he started his entrepreneurial journey in 1997, at the age of 37. He is a true serial entrepreneur having personally started 10 companies. He was the founder United Test and Assembly Centre (UTAC), a large global Semiconductor Assembly and Test Company (“SAT”), for which he raised US$138 million at the seed stage, was valued around US$2 billion when listed and is currently one of the largest SAT companies in the world.
Inderjit is the foremost champion of entrepreneurship in Singapore and has been actively driving the transformation of the Entrepreneurship landscape to better support start-ups. Inderjit was the Deputy Chairman of Action Community for Entrepreneurship (“ACE”) for 7 years. ACE is a national movement in Singapore responsible for spearheading entrepreneurship development in Singapore.
He is currently a co-President of the World Entrepreneurship Forum, a world organization dedicated to the development of entrepreneurship around the world. He is a Board of Trustee member of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and also chairs NTU’s Enterprise Committee tasked to oversee entrepreneurship education and enterprise development in the university
Inderjit is also a rare entrepreneur and Member of Parliament in Singapore. He served 4 terms as an elected Member of Parliament for the Ang Mo Kio GRC from 1996 to 2015. He holds an honours degree in engineering from NTU and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde.
Inderjit loves writing and he is the author of the sold out popular book called “The Art and Science of Entrepreneurship” which captures his entrepreneurial experiences. Inderjit is also an inventor with 3 patents to his name.
Patrick Liew MBA MSc BSc is the CEO of HSR Global Ltd, a publicly listed company on SGX-ST. He is also the Chairman, Ayer Rajah Citizens’ Consultative Committee and founder of Success Resources, probably the largest personal development seminar company in the world, a subsidiary of which is publicly listed on ASX.
He won the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award and the Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Social Contributions.
Mr. Rawat is an author, consultant, and speaker. He serves clients in US, India, Malaysia, and Singapore. His current focus, the Reverse The Chase initiative aligns the core of the organizations to achieve authenticity, which enables professionals and organizations to stop chasing and let opportunities chase them.
Clients include startups to Fortune 100 companies. Mr. Rawat’s earlier career at Xerox and IBM included building trust among large cross functional teams in addressing high priority projects. Even in large organizations, his teams/initiatives successfully executed high risk and entrepreneurial projects.
