Having a photograph in print gives it a lot more dimension than looking at it on screen. This week we will be looking into Polaroid Fotobar; owned by the Polaroid company in an attempt to coerce consumers to adopt the printing culture once more.

Problem With the advent of digital media, there has been a lack of people printing their pictures. It is also not convenient to have them printed, as many printing companies are still in the Brick and Mortar stage, not being able to online services.
Solution Build a web/mobile platform that would allow users to upload their images, to choose the product they like and to get them printed.
Why We Like It Besides the fact of convenience, Polaroid Fotobar’s system will run a check on the source file, to see if the resolution of the image will allow for it to be printed in larger sizes. It will then give recommendations to the users immediately on a rating scale as to whether they should print in that size. By educating the user they are handing the control to the user to make better decisions.
